The most common causes of this issue could be:

  • You’re trying to visit the staging site before even it was cloned properly. 
  • Your DNS is not handled by Cenmax. You might be using a third-party DNS like Cloudflare, Akamai or Google DNS.
  • You might be trying to visit the staging area in HTTPS protocol (with SSL).

How to fix it?

  • Try visiting the staging site after clearing your browser cache and DNS cache
  • If you’re using third-party DNS (perhaps Cloudflare?), you have to add an A record for “” with your web server IP on your DNS control panel.
  • If you get browser errors like “ERR_SSL_UNRECOGNIZED_NAME_ALERT”, then try accessing the staging area in HTTP protocol instead of the HTTPS protocol. We don’t support HTTPS-based staging yet. So, always visit your staging area in HTTP protocol.
